Return Policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it (unworn/unused, with tags, and in original packaging).
  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

Returns for Orders Fulfilled by Amazon (FBA)

If your order was fulfilled by Amazon, please refer to  Amazon's Customer return policy  Returns must be processed directly through Amazon.

Returns for Orders Fulfilled by Printify (Print-on-Demand Products)

Due to the custom nature of Printify-fulfilled products, we only accept returns if the item is defective or there is a printing issue. If you receive a damaged or misprinted item, please contact us at contact@pencilbuddies.com with a photo of the issue, and we will assist with a replacement or refund.

Standard Returns (Non-Amazon & Non-Printify Orders)

To start a return please email us at:  contact@pencilbuddies.com. Once your return is approved, we will provide the return shipping label and instructions. Do not send back items without requesting a return first, as they may not be accepted.

Damages & Issues

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If your item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized items (including Printify-fulfilled products, unless defective).
  • Perishable goods (food, flowers, plants).
  • Personal care items (beauty products).
  • Hazardous materials (flammable liquids, gases).
  • Sale items & gift cards (final sale).

If you have concerns about your item’s eligibility for return, please contact us before purchasing.

Exchanges

If you need a different item, the fastest way is to return the original item (if eligible) and place a new order.

European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have 14 days to return it for any reason, without justification. The item must be in its original condition with proof of purchase.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval or rejection. If approved, refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days. If you haven’t received your refund within 15 business days, contact contact@pencilbuddies.com.

 

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

 

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
